Guideline for applicants
This guideline aims to help the GLAT’s applicants and registrants for their smoother registration and examination procedures.
1: Decide how you’ll take the exam
Either through an approved Examination Body or as an individual applicant. After you choose a time, it must be reviewed and approved before you proceed.
2: Complete your online registration
Register via the GLAT online portal. After submitting, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Keep it for your records.
3: Being prepared for exam day
Ensure you have the required equipment: working voice input (microphone) and video (webcam). GLAT supports remote testing, so be ready to test online.
4: Take the exam
Follow the on-screen instructions provided by GLAT/the Examination Body and complete all required modules and skill-oriented questions.
After passing the exam…
Receive the result
You’ll see an instant report plus a certificate right after the exam is finished. A detailed, analytical report will be available within 48 hours of your exam date.
Post-exam support
GLAT offers post-testing support and analytical results to help you interpret your performance and next steps.
Technical requirements
Computer/Laptop (Windows, macOS, or Linux) with stable performance.
RAM: At least 4 GB (8 GB recommended).
Storage: At least 500 MB of free space for temporary exam files.
Smartphone/Tablet: May be used only as a backup device if allowed.
Stable internet connection with minimum 2 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload speed.
Wired Ethernet /Strong WiFi connection.
Avoid mobile hotspot connections due to instability.
Ensure power backup or a fully charged device to avoid interruptions.
Latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (GLAT platform is optimized for these).
Disable pop-up blockers or VPNs during the exam.
Use the GLAT secure exam application/extension if instructed.
Microphone: Clear and functioning (no echo or heavy background noise).
Webcam: Minimum 720p resolution, must be enabled throughout the exam.
Headset/Earphones recommended for better audio clarity.
